Steamers BBQ is proud to serve the Winfield, IL area with food made from passion, experience, and a commitment to excellence. Originally known as Tony’s Steamers, the restaurant first opened in 1981 and quickly became a beloved local spot. In June 2024, we took over with the goal of continuing its legacy while adding our own personal touch. Having worked in the food business since the age of seven, and now at 50 years old, I bring a lifetime of dedication to the table.

We specialize in BBQ, but our menu is full of carefully perfected options that go far beyond smoked meats. Every burger, gyro, beef sandwich, and tender is crafted for bold, fresh flavor that satisfies every craving. We believe quality takes time, so each item on our menu was tested and refined until it reached the standards we know our guests deserve. It’s this kind of attention to detail that keeps people coming back for more.

One of the things that makes Steamers truly unique is our custom-made smoker, built in Missouri by the legendary Ole Hickory Pits. This smoker allows us to produce rich, authentic BBQ flavors that are hard to find anywhere else. But great food is only part of the experience—we also pride ourselves on offering top-tier customer service. We greet every guest, treat everyone with respect, and work hard to make sure every visit is a great one.
